November 6 & 7, 2014
This two-day training is designed to train school autism teams, Part C/Early Intervention teams, and other organization teams with the knowledge of autism and the medical diagnostic process from concern to diagnosis. Teams will learn from KU Medical Center's Center for Child Health & Development (CCHD) clinicians and doctor's about autism and differential diagnosis, appropriate screening tools, and a variety of assessment tools, including the ADOS-2, ADI-R, and CARS-2. In addition the team will become knowledgeable of the diagnostic process within their community and with CCHD via telemedicine services.
